My Favorite Chickpea Salad

Lidia Maticchio Bastianich taught me to make this chickpea salad – and I enjoy it often during the week at midday, when I can dash the few blocks home from my office, and mix it up in just a few minutes.  When I make this on Saturdays, I always wash the flavors down with red wine – usually whatever brand I like that is also on sale that day.
